About the Role
As an Investment Analyst, you will deliver a World Class Experience by assisting the portfolio manager team with the preparation, publication, and distribution of Wealth client investment reporting and planning documents as well as prospect presentations. Position requires analytical skills to assure calculation and presentation accuracy as well as a professional demeanor in interacting with high-net-worth clientele. Asset class and security level research is a secondary workflow requirement as well as familiarity with bank financial services where necessary. You will be located in Montecito, CA with the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule.
What We’re Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field required
- General knowledge of asset class, investment vehicle, financial market, and economic indicators required
- Minimum of 1 year up to 3 years’ experience in investments, financial services, or banking experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability and understanding of numerical calculations including statistical and performance measurement concepts
- Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills
Your Responsibilities
The essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Analyze, organize, and publish client investment reporting and meeting materials, provide client service support
- Support monthly production of the Bank’s bond portfolio reporting to the ALCO and Investment Committee
- Assist in pre-purchase analysis and documentation of bonds purchased for the Bank’s portfolio
- Support business development including proposal preparation and marketing presentations
- Under supervision and as needed, supply securities trading support including related reports and settlement schedules
- Assist with investment and economic research and general duties including document imaging, compliance tasks
