What are the responsibilities and job description for the PSYCHOLOGIST - FACULTY ELIGIBLE position at Montefiore Einstein Faculty Practice Group?
The Rose F. Kennedy Children's Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center (CERC) at Montefiore is nationally recognized multi- disciplinary program that provides a broad spectrum of clinical services for infants, children, adolescents, and adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities.
The psychologist will work with patients with developmental disabilities beginning at age 3 on RFK CERC’s Infant Preschool Team. Primary responsibilities will focus on diagnostic and intervention needs. The psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychological/psychoeducational evaluations for diagnostic clarification and to assist with educational and treatment planning. Therapeutically, the psychologist will use evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help patients and family attain their goals.
New York State license as a Psychologist
Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD)
Completion of Ph.D. or Psy.D. from a clinical psychology or related field.
Experience With Learning Disabilities/neurodevelopmental Disabilities Is Preferred.
