Salary : $250,000 per annum plus incentives
Job Description :
Overview : We are seeking qualified and dedicated Board Eligible / Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine to work as Hospitalists. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, providing care for patients in the Emergency Department (ED) and the adjacent 12-bed inpatient unit known as the AU. The Hospitalists will be integral in managing and coordinating the care of patients, particularly "boarders" awaiting bed assignments in the inpatient units.
Responsibilities :
- Patient Care :
Provide high-quality, evidence-based medical care to patients in the Emergency Department and the AU.
Work closely with Emergency Medicine physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Successfully adapt to the transition from Medicine to Emergency Medicine, effective January 1, 2024.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including nurses, specialists, and support staff, to ensure seamless patient care.
The base salary for this position is $250,000 per annum, with additional incentives based on performance metrics and achievement of set goals.
