Pediatric Hospital Medicine Faculty Positions
The Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) in the Department of Pediatrics at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) and Albert Einstein School of Medicine is seeking candidates to join our dynamic and growing faculty. CHAM is a quaternary care, academic children’s hospital in New York City, serving the diverse patient population of the Bronx, Westchester County, and the Hudson Valley. Our Division currently includes 16 Pediatric Hospitalists and 7 Physician Assistants. The Division has a strong foundation in Quality and Performance Improvement as well as clinical research. In addition, we are proud to have a premier PHM fellowship, and our division members are core faculty for the Pediatric Residency program and medical student education.
We are looking for a Board Certified / Board Eligible candidate who is committed to a career in academic Pediatric Hospital Medicine. That candidate will be energetic and enthusiastic and will have the ability to work effectively as part of a team. We are particularly interested in candidates with research and / or quality improvement training / experience. The candidate must be an outstanding clinician dedicated to the care of hospitalized children and their families, and an excellent teacher of learners at all levels. Leadership opportunities are available for qualified candidates. Scholarly productivity expectations will be aligned with the candidate’s interests and division’s mission. Fellowship or advanced training is preferred. Schedule will vary based on the needs of the department, and include days, evenings, and weekends on a rotating basis. The Department is supported with highly skilled RNs, PAs, Respiratory Therapists, and Phlebotomists.
Academic appointment commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary of $150,000-200,000, we offer the opportunity to make more income with productivity incentives. LTD, STD, paid malpractice, health, dental, vision, and a 403(b) are also offered.
