What are the responsibilities and job description for the RADIATION ONCOLOGY TECHNICIAN Job Details | Montefiore Medical Center position at Montefiore Medical Center Health System?
The associate will be responsible for administering Radiation Therapy Treatments to patients (both in-patients and out-patients) as prescribed by the physician.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- NYS DOH licensure in Radiation Therapy Required
- Must have ARRT board certification Required
- minimum of 2 years Radiation Therapy experience Required
- Knowledgeable in Megavoltage equipment ( linear accelerators)
- Knowledgeable with record and verify systems
- Knowledgeable with ct-simulators
- Proficiency in all computer data management and applications such as word processing, graphing, statistical display and use of spreadsheets.
- Use of PC to perform daily routine operations; fax machine, copy machine, scanner.
- Knowledgeable with billing operations
- Knowledgeable with keeping up to date on accrediting agency requirements.
