Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a full-time licensed Clinical Program Manager for its Wakefield Recovery Center.
The Wakefield Recovery Center offers evidence-based care to individuals with drug and alcohol use disorders in the Bronx, NY. The program integrates medications for addiction treatment with empirically-supported behavioral interventions and psychiatric treatment. Our dedicated team includes addiction counselors, social workers, psychiatrists, psychologists and peers who assist clients in developing the skills they need to reach their recovery goals.
The successful applicant will oversee clinical and administrative operations for a team of 6 substance use counselors, a peer advocate and support staff. The clinical manager will provide individual and group supervision to ensure that clinical and regulatory standards are met and that the program’s services and documentation comply with OASAS, Joint Commission, Department of Health and hospital standards. The clinical program manager will also lead the program's interdisciplinary team meeting and coordinate care with the program’s psychiatrists and psychologists.
Applicants must possess at least a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or Clinical Psychology and a license in their field (LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, PhD/PsyD). The applicant must also have at least two years of experience in the treatment of substance use, and possess strong leadership, communication and organizational skills. Supervisory or administrative experience is preferred.
