What are the responsibilities and job description for the CT Technologist position at MONTEFIORE MEDICAL CENTER?
Under the direction of radiologist, performs Cat Scan Procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for imaging diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
The Schedule for this position is overnight 12am-8am Sunday - Thursday
EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma. Associate’s degree preferred.
Satisfactory completion of formal Radiology technology, must be CT certification by the ARRT.
Valid license by the State of New York, Injection registered.
