Montefiore Health System's network of primary care practices, known as Montefiore Medical Group (MMG) is actively seeking FULL TIME/PART TIMEprimary care physicians.
What we are looking for:
MMG is seeking flexiblephysicians to deliver exceptional medical care to patients by:
- Conducting thorough annual assessments
- Providing counsel to patients on their health concerns
- Documenting care delivered into EPIC
- Appropriately referring patients who have ongoing or acute medical needs
In this role, the primary care physician will:
- Perform patient histories and physical examinations. Evaluate findings and provide appropriate patient care
- Provide quality clinical diagnostic skills in the delivery of patient care. Emphasize early detection of ailments, prevention, and all- around wellness
- Provide relationship-centered care, collaborating with our Integrated Behavioral Health team
- Participate in the Quality Assurance Program
- Communicate effectively with the clinical team
- Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings
Requirements:
- Board Certified inFamily or Board Eligible Medical Doctorate (MD or DO)
- Current unrestricted State license and unrestricted DEA certificate
- Experience in Preventive Medicine is a plus
- Comfortable with electronic medical record
