The Division of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at Children’s Hospital of Montefiore, Albert Einstein College of Medicine (AECOM) in NY, has an immediate opening for a first-year fellowship position in Pediatric Pulmonary beginning July 2024. Our training program provides trainees with a wide variety of clinical experience in the inpatient and outpatient setting as well as strong opportunities for clinical and translational research in pediatric respiratory disorders.
The division provides care for children with a wide range of complex respiratory conditions through multidisciplinary services in one of the largest pediatric hospitals in NY. These services include the asthma center, the technology dependent clinic, the pediatric sleep center, the aero-digestive and airway center, BPD clinic, neuromuscular clinic, and the childhood interstitial lung disease (ChILD) program. We have a well-equipped bronchoscopy facility, PFT laboratory including cardio-pulmonary exercise stress testing, and a 4-bed sleep laboratory. In addition, there are ample opportunities for clinical and translational research, quality improvement projects, and educational opportunities of teaching medical students and residents. Our program sponsors H1 and J1 visas. Our team members are leaders in the field of pediatric pulmonology and are funded through various sources including NIH. Salary range is $83,000-90,000 with an outstanding benefit package.
