What are the responsibilities and job description for the INTERNATIONAL COORDINATOR position at Montefiore Medical Center?
Ensure and foster success of International Program and manage international relationships. Enhance embassy relations through provision of optimal care and experience for the patient and their families. Ensure complete and thorough medical and social / residential care for the patients and their families before arrival through departure. Provision of complete and extensive concierge services for patients and families. Navigation of care throughout the Montefiore system. Ensure ongoing follow-up care for the patients in their countries and secure follow up appointments with Montefiore.
Education Required- Bachelor.
Length of work experience required- 5yrs.
Training Required- Concierge services and high computer skills.
Required : written and verbal proficiency in language utilized by specific International Department patient population (example : Arabic, Spanish, Mandarin, etc.)
Required : Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power-Point, Access
Required : Knowledge of diverse cultural and political ideologies
Required : Ability to be trained on and utilize various medical center systems
Preferred : Medical Interpretation Ability
Preferred : Knowledge of Strategic planning
Preferred : Analytical and process oriented
