Job Description
">We are seeking an experienced physician leader to join our team as the Chief/Site Director of Anesthesiology at Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall (SLC) Campus.
">This individual will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the SLC Department of Anesthesiology, ensuring high-quality patient care and overall satisfaction.
">The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
">Responsibilities
">- Assign daily duties and responsibilities to anesthesiologists and CRNAs
- Coordinate with nursing and surgical staff to ensure efficient operating room schedules
- Manage pre-anesthesia evaluation processes
- Resolve medical issues through patient evaluations
- Monitor clinical performance to ensure compliance with departmental standards
Requirements
">- MD, DO or foreign equivalent
- B/C in Anesthesiology
- Minimum of five years' experience
- New York state medical license
- Demonstration of leadership abilities
