The Senior Financial Analyst, FPG Analytics is a critical member of the FPG Analytics team and is responsible for supporting physician practice data/reporting/analytics activities including: Operations, Finance, Business Development and Revenue Cycle. In this role, the Senior Financial Analyst interfaces with Departmental Management and Administrationacross the Medical Center.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and distribute standard/recurring reports for Physician Revenue Cycle Activity ($4.6 billion annual charges; $727 million annual collections; 3 million ambulatory visits) for all physician practices at MMC
Work with Analytics leadership on recurring external and internal audits for financial and regulatory data
Work with external entities to provide data and analysis of physician revenue cycle (scheduling, billing, productivity) data, in line with FPG and MMC strategic initiatives
Prepare, distribute and maintain daily, weekly and monthly Revenue Cycle and Productivity Reports for FPG and MMC
Utilize SQL knowledge in developing and maintaining Revenue Cycle, Access, and Productivity Reports
Assist in reconciliation process between the various self-service data/reporting environments and source system (Epic) to ensure accuracy
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Required; Master's Degree Preferred
Experience with SQL report writing (both Microsoft SQL and Oracle)
Exceptional Analytical and Organizational skills
Solid communication (written and oral) skills
Knowledge of health care industry
Strong knowledge of Epic PB and Cadence applications
Knowledge of Epic HB is a plus
Knowledge of querying Epic Caboodle or Clarity databases
Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access skill
Epic Clarity Certification is a plus
