What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ambulatory Scrub Technician - Ambulatory Surgery Center - Full Time Days position at Montefiore Nyack Hospital?
Performs a variety of duties in the Ambulatory Surgery Center, as a member of the surgical team. Scrubs on all types of cases performed at the Center, including orthopedic, pain and local cases. Assists in preparation for cases by picking instruments and set-up and maintenance of sterile field. May also function as surgeon’s second assistant. Assist OR team in all aspects of room turnover. Pick soft goods and instrumentation to facilitate preparation for following days’ surgery.
