DESCRIPTION
The Medical Assistant works collaboratively with the team within the practice by rooming the patients in preparation to see the Physician. Performs Medical Assistant duties such as taking vitals and EKGs. The Medical Assistant will also update patient information in the electronic medical records system. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School graduate. Associates degree preferred.
Experience: Must have either work experience as a Medical Assistant or a Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program. Phlebotomy experience preferred.
Certification: BLS certification required.
Other: The ability to work collaboratively and value being part of a team. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
