The Clinical RN Coordinator will assess patients physical and emotional status, past health history and health practices by demonstrating effective communication skills with patients, significant others and members of the multidisciplinary health care team. Will assess family and patients understanding of disease and disease processed. Will be familiar with all oncology treatments with ability to educate patients on treatments and will provide education to patient and family. The Clinical RN Coordinator is accountable for maintaining his/her clinical competence in reaching the defined standards of care for the area of nursing practice.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred. Previous Experience in Oncology preferred. N.Y.S. Nursing License, Current N.Y.S. Registration. BLS Certification.
