The Center is part of the Montefiore Einstein, a premier academic health system serving more than 3 million people living in the New York City region and Hudson Valley. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Full Time, bi-lingual LPN to join our team. Montefiore is doing more to deliver science driven care where, when and how patients need it most offering patients state of the art healthcare close to home.
Responsibilities:
- Provides direct care for a multi-specialty health center including Pediatrics and Adults.
- Administers medications and treatments.
- Provides patient & family teaching and discharge instructions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Requirements:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma required.
- Basic Life Support & Infection Control Certification required.
- Current New York State Licensed Practical Nurse License required.
- Minimum of one year experience in an ambulatory setting required.
- Bi-lingual Spanish
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral required
