SENIOR CLERK (RIVERDALE, NY, US)

Under the direction of the Imaging Manager associate is responsible for

• Greeting and registration of patients.
• Answering patient calls and taking messages, handling faxes and scanning. check in and out of appointments.
• Schedules patient office appointments in EPIC,. Insurance verification, co-pay collection, generate monthly reports.
• Works with patients, medical staff, doctors' offices and various hospital ancillary departments to provide reports and copies of radiological imaging studies utilizing Faxes, EPIC and AMBRA.
• Performs associated general clerical duties.
• Cross cover in other areas of the department due to operational needs.
• position bilingual required to assist with the patient demographic to meet the community needs.Qualifications :
• High School Diploma / GED Required
• 2 years or more of Front Desk experience in a hospital / doctor environment
• Registration training required on Epic, Life Image, US Bank and PACS
• General PC and knowledge with Microsoft Office, Excel, Care Link, EPIC, Internet, PACS, Insurance Verification, Medical Terminology, Outlook,
• Bilingual in Spanish & English
