We are seeking a full-time or part-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to add to our clinical team. Our vascular surgery practice focuses on the specialization of minimally invasive endovascular revascularization procedures and a wide variety of various other (non-cardiac) vascular treatment options that concentrate on venous and arterial diseases. Our locations require onsite availability at our Aptos and Salinas locations. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in direct patient care. Additionally, a self-starter, that can work with a dynamic healthcare team. Experience in interventional radiology, dialysis, and cath lab is a plus.
This is a challenging, fast-paced job with Monday to Friday schedule, NO nights, and weekend shifts. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. Our employees enjoy a great work/life balance and a highly supportive management team.

Successful completion of pre-employment screening and background check before employment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Managing a schedule of patients
- Post-operative follow-ups, wound care/checks, patient management consistent with vascular disease
- Prioritize additional responsibilities that include: Quality Assurance, laboratory results and vascular studies review, walk-in appointments, and prescription assistance
- Excellent bedside manner is a must.
Experience:
- Will consider recent PA/NP Graduates
- 2-3 years in OR, dialysis, or outpatient ASC/ cath lab/ OBL (Preferred)
- Basic Computer Skills
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Great attitude along with people skills
- Previous OR experience with vascular/endovascular, interventional radiology, or cardiovascular procedures (prefer OR circulating experience for endovascular) is a plus.
Position Requirements:
- 1-year experience in general diagnostic, special procedures, or cardiac catheterization
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is a plus
- Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program
- License, Certification, Registration
- California State Physician Assistant License, issued by the Physician Assistant Board under the Medical Board of California by the date of hire
- Must have a Nat'l Provider Identifier (NPI), or obtain an NPI, prior to employment start date and meet current Medicare requirements for billing
- Fluoroscopy Permit is required, or must be obtained within 18 months from the date of hire.
- May be required to have experience and competency in performing specific tasks required by the specific department
