Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate ABA case supervisor/mid level to lead a dynamic team in providing exceptional services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of behavioral therapy and a passion for creating a supportive environment for our clients. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing medical records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise BT and support a diverse team of professionals providing behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis to clients.
-Provide direct ABA therapy.
- Collect and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Develop and implement data collection strategies to track client progress and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Provide direct support to clients using ABA strategies.
- Collaborate with staff (BCBA, caregivers, BT) members to create a positive and inclusive environment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Participate in staff training and professional development activities to maintain expertise in autism-specific services.
- Manage and resolve conflicts or concerns in a fair and respectful manner.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress, including medical records, behavioral reports, and treatment plans.
- Participate in program planning and evaluation to continuously improve services and outcomes.
- For those pursuing BCBA/BCaBA, conduct client assessments and develop individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in behavioral therapy, such as psychology, special education, ABA masters or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities.
- Experience in behavioral therapy, including applied behavior analysis.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience working in ABA field and with developmental disabilities, as well as a commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
