The Bureau Chief is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, organizing, and evaluating the operations of the Behavioral Health Bureau. This position is At-Will and works under general direction of the Director of Health. The Behavioral Health Bureau provides a wide range of prevention, diagnostic, treatment, and community services for children, adolescents, and adults with mental illness, substance use disorder, and co-occurring conditions. The Bureau employs 500 FTEs, contracts with a large, community-based provider network (about 100 providers) and manages an annual budget of $167 million.
