Job Title: Maintenance Electrical Mechanic (330ATX)
Business Unit: Maintenance
Location: Madisonville Texas
Reports to: Department Supervisor
Work Schedule: Varies
Position Type: Full Time
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY: The role of this position is to maintain the operations of the facility in a safe, clean, efficient and cost-effective manner as an integral part of the operational team, and to demonstrate good overall mechanical and electrical skills, to install and repair electrical controls, wiring, and lighting systems. Will be required to work a flexible schedule, and, be available for an occasional call-in on nights or weekends.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required for this position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete work orders as assigned; maintain a daily logbook, giving a description of work performed on work order; replace or repair parts as needed to keep equipment safe and operating.
Must have a working knowledge in electricity plus at least two of the following crafts: welding, electronics, boilers, instrumentation, utilities, hydraulics, pneumatics, rolling stock maintenance, general maintenance, machine shop, HVAC, and fabrication.
Install all types of conduit, wire and electrical devices ( size, bend, and path lay out)
National Electrical Code working knowledge along with NFPA 70E
Install, maintain, and repair electrical controls, wiring, equipment, fixtures, and lighting systems.
Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components to troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
Observe and practice safety procedures at all times, including Lock Out Tag Out. Be safety conscious.
Correct or notify supervisor of safety hazards. In the event of an accident, notify the supervisor immediately. Attend Safety Meetings.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive tractors, forklifts, or other equipment as necessary.
Perform general electrical maintenance and make daily rounds, working with other departments as necessary, and performing equipment PMs per schedule, or as required.
Follow National Electrical Codes, as well as State, and Local building regulations.
Practice good housekeeping, keeping work areas clean and safe.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge and practice in Industrial Electricity with the ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
Basic knowledge in the fabrication, utilities, and general maintenance
Able to operate a forklift, and other equipment
Know safety requirements of Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO)
Valid State of Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record
EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Minimum of three years work experience in electricity
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Desired:
Vocational or Apprenticeship training in Electricity
