Montessori Children’s School – Jacksonville, NC
Position: Part-Time (30 hours or less/week) | 10-Month School Year (Mid-August – Early June)

✨ What You’ll Do:
Use data-driven insights to provide differentiated literacy instruction and accelerate student achievement.
Collaborate closely with teachers to develop engaging, research-based literacy strategies that align with Montessori principles.
Work with students (ages 4-14) in small groups and one-on-one to foster confidence and proficiency in reading and writing.
Help shape a school culture where every child can thrive at their own pace through structured, evidence-based literacy practices.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Education: Master’s Degree preferred; minimum of a Bachelor’s in Education (Elementary Ed preferred).
✅ Expertise in Literacy: Deep understanding of Science of Reading, Structured Literacy, and evidence-based intervention strategies.
✅ Classroom Experience: At least 2 years of literacy-focused teaching experience.
✅ Innovative Thinker: Ability to develop and implement creative, student-centered learning strategies that align with Montessori philosophy.
✅ Collaborative Spirit: A team player who can work alongside teachers to enhance literacy instruction across grade levels.
✅ Montessori Knowledge a Plus! If you’re familiar with Montessori principles, that’s a bonus—but a passion for child-centered learning is a must!
