Nido Lead Guide (Certified)

Summary

We are seeking a passionate and certified Nido Lead Guide to join our Montessori 0-3 Spanish immersion program. As a Lead Guide, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating, bilingual environment where young children can thrive. This position requires a commitment to the Montessori philosophy, experience with early childhood education, and fluency in Spanish.

Duties

• Lead a Montessori 0-3 classroom using Nido (Infant/Toddler) methods
• Create a warm, safe, and engaging environment that fosters independence and learning
• Implement Spanish immersion strategies through daily routines, songs, stories, and activities
• Develop individualized learning plans and observe each child?s progress
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of Montessori educators and Spanish speakers
• Partner with families to support the child?s cognitive, emotional, and social growth

Requirements

• Montessori 0-3 certification (Nido Lead Guide)
• Fluent in Spanish
• Passion for early childhood education and the Montessori approach
• Experience in a Spanish immersion environment is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and engage with families
• A love for working with young children and supporting their development

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a bilingual or Spanish immersion setting
• Familiarity with Montessori materials and curriculum
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and families
• A background in child development, early childhood education, or related fields
• Ability to create a calm, nurturing, and responsive classroom environment
• Knowledge of positive discipline strategies
• CPR and First Aid certification
