Responsibilities
- Fill in as needed for Lead Teaching staff; i.e.; personal/vacation days, sick leave, breaks, etc.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Assess student performance through standardized testing and ongoing evaluations to tailor instruction to individual needs.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other educators to support child welfare and development.
- Maintain classroom discipline while promoting respect and cooperation among students.
- Organize physical education activities that promote health, fitness, and teamwork.
- Stay updated on best practices in childhood development and early education methodologies.
Qualifications
- Experience working with students in a classroom or daycare setting is essential.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with early childhood education frameworks and standards.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
