Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in nurturing and developing young minds in a safe and engaging environment. This position involves creating lesson plans, fostering social and emotional growth, and ensuring the overall well-being of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will work closely with parents, caregivers, and staff to provide a supportive learning atmosphere that encourages curiosity and exploration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
  • Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
  • Educate children on basic academic concepts, social skills, and emotional regulation.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience.
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom conducive to learning.

Skills

  • Experience working with students with disabilities is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of first aid practices to ensure child safety.
  • Familiarity with daycare operations and regulations.
  • Proficient in infant care techniques and practices.
  • Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
  • Ability to educate young children through engaging activities and lessons.
  • Background in preschool education or early childhood education is preferred.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
