Summary
We are looking for compassionate, respectful, and loving person to lead our late afternoon program. The hours contracted for this position can depend on the right candidate. Hours can start at early as 11 : 30 but must cover our aftercare hours of 2 : 30-5 : 30. There are also options to add hours as a substitute.

Duties
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Supporting Montessori philosophy and children's social-emotional development
- Maintenance of classroom and outdoor environments
- Creating age-appropriate activities and routines for the children in the afternoon program
- Ensuring all licensing standards are met
- On-time arrival and mindfulness of absences to minimize their effect on the children
Requirements
The ability to be reliable, consistent, and flexible; a love and understanding of children; a high school diploma (early childhood certification or equivalent preferred) and experience working with young children in a leadership role, and the ability to spend time on the floor / get down to children's level.

Previous experience in Montessori settings is preferred.
