Responsibilities
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Foster positive relationships with children, providing individualized attention to support their unique needs.
- Monitor children's progress and development, maintaining accurate records of their achievements.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood development.
Requirements
- Previous experience in nannying, caregiving, daycare, or as a babysitter is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential.
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
- First aid certification is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain it is necessary.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages learning through play.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children are essential traits.
