What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher Assistant position at Montessori School?
We are seeking to hire a Teacher Assistant to join our great team!
If you love working with children ages 2-5 years old, are a team player and have a proven track record of classroom management and supporting a lead teacher, we welcome the chance to meet with you.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 12 ECE units, including Infant Toddler Units.
- 1-2 years experience working in a Montessori school (preferred but not required).
- Livescan fingerprint clearance
- Criminal record & TB clearance. All up to date vaccines including Measles, TDAP, and Influenza (flu) vaccines, and COVID vaccine.
- CPR, First Aid, Health & Safety
- Must love working with children
- Must be genuinely loving, warm, and nurturing.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
- Must possess written and verbal communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
