About the Role:
As a Veterinary Practice Manager, you will be responsible for managing all non-medical aspects of our practice, including staff supervision, financial oversight, client relations, inventory management, and marketing initiatives. Your leadership will help create an efficient and supportive environment for both our clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities: Staff & Operations Management:
- Hire, train, and supervise receptionists, veterinary technicians, and assistants.
- Oversee staff schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and address employee concerns.
- Maintain inventory, order medical supplies, and negotiate contracts with vendors.
- Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and clinic policies.
Client Experience & Business Development:
- Oversee client service, ensuring positive interactions and relationship-building.
- Manage appointment scheduling and optimize client flow.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients.
- Manage the clinic’s online presence, including website and social media.
Financial & Administrative Oversight:
- Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Prepare budgets and track financial performance.
- Maintain accurate medical records and handle facility upkeep.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, veterinary technology, healthcare management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) credential is a plus but not mandatory.
- Registered Veterinary Technician is a plus but not required.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in veterinary practice management, healthcare administration, or a leadership role within a veterinary or medical practice.
- Previous experience in staff supervision, financial management, and customer service in a veterinary, medical, or similar setting.
