We are looking for dependable, hardworking candidates with a positive attitude for the position of TSP Maintenance Worker. We offer on the job training to the right individual for this opportunity. Valid Driver's license is required, must be 17 to operate a State Vehicle. Weekends and Holidays are mandatory for this position.
Job Overview:
Summary: Under immediate supervision, performs unskilled and semiskilled conservation work of routine difficulty; and performs related work as required.
Distinguishing Features:
This is a seasonal entry level class Conservation Worker position. An employee in this class performs a wide variety of unskilled and semi-skilled work in such areas as janitorial and grounds maintenance.
Work Activities:
- Performs grounds maintenance work including mulching, weeding, trimming grass, and removing obstructive tree limbs throughout the mowing zones.
- Cleans floors, walls, ceilings, sidewalks, and restrooms to maintain proper sanitary conditions for our guests.
- Unstops drains and repairs faucets, toilets, and showers for proper facility operation.
- Removes trash and debris from receptacles ensuring a formal appearance throughout the park.

About the Park:

Three lakes are nestled into the 3,850-acre park and provide visitors the opportunity to soak up the sun on their swim beach shores and paddle the calm waters.
The park was once the center of the iron industry in Middle Tennessee. The park's namesake, Montgomery Bell, formed one of the largest iron industries in Tennessee. Iron was once thought to be more valuable than gold and was a very lucrative industry at the time.
