Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Fitness Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitness training, exercise prescription, and a commitment to helping clients achieve their health and wellness goals. As a Fitness Instructor at MCA Health and Fitness Center, you will work with cardiac patients, provide personalized training, and promote a positive fitness environment that encourages participants to improve their overall well-being.
Duties
- Monitor participants blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen saturation pre and post exercise.
- Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, and safety protocols.
- Design and implement effective fitness programs tailored to the needs of individuals.
- Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and physiology to enhance client understanding of workouts.
- Promote membership sales by touring potential clients through the facility, explaining what we do and how we can assist them obtain better health.
- Maintain a clean and organized workout space, ensuring all equipment is safe and functional.
- Foster a supportive community atmosphere that motivates participants to reach their fitness goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fitness Instructor or in a similar role within the fitness industry.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics.
- Ability to design engaging workout programs that cater to various skill levels.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and inspire clients effectively.
- Certification in CPR
- A passion for health and wellness with an eagerness to continue learning about new fitness trends.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including morning shifts, or evening shifts as needed with rotating Saturday shifts 8am - 1pm. Our part-time staff generally consists of college students who in the field of study. Work schedule is tailored around school schedule.

Pay: Up to $10.50 per hour
