What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aide- (ISS) In School Suspension position at Montgomery Co?
Qualifications:
- Must meet the No Child Left Behind requirements: 2-year degree or 48 semester hours from an accredited college/university, or successful completion of Work Keys Test.
- Experience working with junior and senior high school age children.
- Experience working with a detention program is preferred.
- Ability to interact with supervisors, coworkers, and students in various settings
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Assist in monitoring an in-school detention program at the junior and senior high school level.
- Maintain order, keep class roster and attendance records, and relay instructions and assignments to teachers, students, and administrators.
- Foster a positive relationship with parents, volunteers, and other school visitors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
