What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Baseball Coach position at Montgomery Co?
Qualifications:
- Current Alabama Teacher’s Certification (preferred) or classified dependent upon qualifications of the person holding the position
- Previous Experience in sports as a participant and/or coach (preferred) but not required
- Completion of all requirements set forth by the AHSAA Coaches’ Education Program
- Must have or be willing to obtain CDL
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Assists the Head Baseball coach with instructing players in the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of the sport
- Assists with determining game strategy
- Assists the head baseball coach with supervising athletes during practices and competition
- Ensure that all athletic activities conform to AHSAA guidelines
