What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Baseball Coach position at Montgomery Co?
Qualifications:
- Current Alabama Teacher’s Certification (preferred) or classified dependent upon qualifications of the person holding the position
- Previous Experience in sports as a participant and/or coach (preferred) but not required
- Completion of all requirements set forth by the AHSAA Coaches’ Education Program
- Must have or be willing to obtain CDL
Essential Duties:
- Coordinate and supervise Baseball program and team
- Organize and supervise the coaching staff to assure that the program is properly implemented
- Ensures that student-athletes practicing or playing have been cleared through the Athletic Director
- Attend the AHSAA sponsored rules clinic for his/her sports
