Part-time CISCO Academy Administrator
Part-time Administrator (Level 15)
Hourly Range: $34.00 - $37.00 (hourly rate is commensurate with experience)
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Director of Workforce Development - Information Technology
Position will close on Sunday, February 9, 2025.
BASIC PURPOSE:
Under the supervision of the Director of Workforce Development – Information Technology, the Part-time Administrator - CISCO Academy is primarily responsible for conducting training and supporting partners within the CISCO Academy to ensure compliance with the CISCO Networking Academies operating and quality standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct, communicate, and coordinate with CISCO Networking Academies and serve as the lead for the CISCO Instructor Training Center.
- Work with our approximately 150 existing CISCO Academy partners to answer questions, provide services, troubleshoot, or arrange training as the Academy Support Center.
- Provide train-the-trainer instruction for Cisco Academy partners and conduct additional instructor trainings as required by Cisco, including educational workshops for web conferences
- Initiate contact with potential new Cisco Academy partners and educate them about the Academy and its benefits. Begin the process for completing contractual agreements with new partners in conjunction with the Director of Workforce Development – Information Technology.
- Manage CRM inquiries in a timely fashion.
- Attend required Cisco trainings and conferences on behalf of the College.
- Other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Education/Training/Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of two years of experience in classroom and/or informal educational settings using computer-assisted instruction.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
1. CCNA and CCIE certifications are required.
2. At least two years of experience teaching Cisco or other informational technology programs is required.
3. At least one year of management experience preferred.
4. Experience in curriculum development in the field preferred.
