ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY - MONTGOMERY COUNTY, NY
Salary: $106,142 - overtime and comp time available. 35 hour workweek and 30 hours per week in summer hours.
Department: DISTRICT ATTORNEY
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Investigates, prepares, and prosecutes criminal cases; does related work as required.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: This is an appointed position under the supervision of the District Attorney. No supervision is exercised in this position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Admission to the Bar in New York State. Applicants must provide verification of their admission to the bar in NYS and provide a current Certificate of Good Standing from the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division. An employee, is required to maintain the certificate of good standing for the duration of his or her career.
Possession of a valid NYS driver’s license is required at time of appointment and maintained during employment.
