We seek a talented and principled advocate to fill a misdemeanor prosecutor position with the anticipation that you will become a felony prosecutor. Depending on your interests and the needs of the office, you may practice in specialty areas like child abuse, family violence, public integrity, vehicular crimes, white-collar offenses, online crimes, etc.
As a prosecutor, you will evaluate cases, contact victims, work with law enforcement officers, and try appropriate cases to jury verdicts, first at a misdemeanor level and then at a felony level. We seek men and women of integrity to wield this great power and responsibility. We seek attorneys who treat colleagues, witnesses, victims, officers, defense attorneys, defendants, judges, and citizens with respect and professionalism. We are looking for courageous and skilled courtroom advocates. We are looking for men and women who sincerely wish to see justice done in every case.

Applicants must either be licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas or preparing to take the February 2025 bar examination.
Our starting salary is $90,358, with ample opportunities for supplemental pay and an expectation of pay raises. We have flexibility regarding your start date. For those taking the bar, we are willing to begin your employment after the exam but before your results are received.
