ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF SPRING MUSICAL(Accompanist)
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Kentucky Certificate with proper endorsements.
- Such additional qualifications as the Superintendent or Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
REPORTS: Director of Spring Musical, Principal
SUPERVISES: Not Applicable
JOB GOAL: To assist the Director of the Spring Musical.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists the Director as directed, including but not limited to:
- Collaborates with Director of Music Programs, and Set Coordinator, in preparation of musical program.
- Serves as instrumental accompanist as needed.
- Plans schedules, organizes and attends practices and performances; publicizes performances and events.
- Supervises assigned students immediately before, during, and after practices, performances and during required travel.
- Maintains professional conduct serving as a role model when representing the district during school functions and activities.
- Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Director of Spring Musical, Principal, or the Superintendent.
TERM OF SERVICE: Salary and workdays to be established by the Board.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Certified Personnel.
