Position Overview
Full performance level in program direction and administration requiring considerable knowledge of agency policies and practices for specific program; requiring working knowledge of Comprehensive Case Management and Employment Program, related to the attainment of education and employment goals for youth (age 14-24) working in conjunction with community partners to increase programming effectiveness for target population. Assist in program direction by relieving superior of both routine and non-routine administrative duties, makes recommendations about program, and assist as required in development of new procedures.
Summary of Job Duties
Assists in program direction; researches and analyzes information about programs for superior; provides technical information and advice to superiors for decision making; makes recommendations and assists in developing new procedures for programs; serves as a liaison between superiors, subordinates and program partners; transmits decisions and directives as directed by superior; inputs data in to different databases; performs variety of clerical tasks including telephone service related to completion and maintenance of case records including identification of recipient and issuance of documents and retrieving same and entering relevant data into computer system and verifying and retrieving said data; compiles data information in reports for team members to review; monitors work flow daily; may represent superior at meetings and conferences; contributes to the business functions of the program; researches and responds to inquiries and complaints; furnishes information and explains program and policy to community partners and the public.
Works on special assignments and projects as directed; prepares reports, publications, memos and presentations for dissemination outside work unit. Contributes to division work such as but not limited to the Child Care, Work Activity and Sanction units when a need is presented.
Plans, assigns and supervises work of small number of support staff on specific projects as directed by superior.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Completion of Associate Degree core course work in Business Administration, Management Science or Public Administration and 2 years of experience in an administrative position involving research and public contact OR alternative, equivalent evidence of the Minimum Class Requirements (Other Evidences May Be Substituted).
