SUMMARY
This position is in charge of docketing of Inheritance Tax, accepting inheritance tax payment and pulling daily Itemization of Inheritance Tax Receipts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Docketing of Inheritance Tax, also accept inheritance tax payment.
- Docket all County Forms (Inventory, Certification of Notice and Status Report).
- Pull daily Itemization of Inheritance Tax Receipts.
- Pull Monthly Report for Inheritance Tax.
- Prepare and submit the Inheritance Monthly Report and issue to the Register of Wills for certification.
- Issue the PA Department of Revenue copies of Register of Wills Monthly Report.
- Daily deposit for inheritance tax payments.
- Research County files for estate information.
- Assign file numbers for Non-probate Estates.
- Verbal, written and telephone contact with customers.
- Prepare all inheritance documents for scanning.
- Mail duplicate copy of the Rev-1500 (Inheritance Tax Form) to Bureau of Individual Tax Division.
- Other duties as assigned.
