Registrar Aide
7 hrs/day – 10 month contract
The Montgomery County School Board, Virginia, is now accepting applications for a Registrar Aide position (10 month contract) that is available at Blacksburg High School.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist parents, community members, staff and students
- Answer telephone calls, take and relay messages; send and receive faxes
- Assist with sorting mail and filing records
- Enter data into the data management system
- Assist with student discipline letters
- Perform related job duties as required to assist in the running of the main office
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate
- Functional knowledge of commonly used office equipment and work-flow technologies
- Effective verbal and written skills
- Ability to maintain an unquestionable degree of confidentiality
- Ability to multi-task, work with interruptions, and work under pressure
- Ability to be dependable and punctual
FLSA: Non-exempt
SALARY: $21,00.00 - $38,517.50 annually, with benefits (current salary scale may change due to 2025-2026 budget considerations)
