The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for the position of 911 Dispatcher. Candidates must be a US citizen over the age of 18, possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. This position will include some weekends and holidays. Must obtain CPR certification, become Iowa / NCIC certified, obtain Emergency Medical Dispatch Certification, and must successfully complete all required on the job training. Must complete a background investigation. This position requires flexible hours for scheduling.
Starting wage $26.00 / hour- No Benefits

Responsibilities:
- Answering 911 calls and dispatching agencies for services.
- Answering non-emergency phone calls for City and County Law Enforcement
-Operate Radio console
- Enter and update Computer Aided Dispatch program
- Operate Correctional Facility doors
- Other duties as assigned
