Job Description
- Organize, oversee, and supervise assigned unit activities and staff assignments, demonstrating clinical expertise consistent with established nursing standards.
- Monitor, observe, and document vital signs, treatments administered, and patient responses.
- Communicate and direct services ongoing or any plan/concerns/information to appropriate team members, resident, family, or medical staff as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and follow disciplinary action as stated in policy.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and other vendors/services.
- Perform RN assessments on residents post-incidents or change in condition.
- Lead and direct emergency situations (fire alarm, elopement, etc.).
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with geriatric/short term rehabilitation/Alzheimer's patients is desirable.
- Progressive nursing experience in a geriatric setting, dedicated to providing quality, compassionate care to each resident.
