Montgomery Overall Service, Inc. is one of the area’s leading independent uniform rental companies that’s been serving Hudson Valley for over 63 years. We are now actively recruiting a full-time self-motivated hard-working Route Customer Service Representative to join our team.
The Route Service Representative plays a critical role in building relationships with our valued customers with timely delivery and pick-up of uniforms, mats, mops, linens and more, along a defined route. The Route Service Representative is a traveling ambassador of Montgomery Overall Service, Inc.Professionalism and attitude are key for this position. As a Route Service Representative, it’s important to learn each customer’s business well enough to present solutions for their changing needs.
The ideal Route Service Representative candidate must have a clean and unrestricted driver’s license, route servicing experience driving a step van, and a willingness/ability to maintain and grow accounts within the assigned area. The following is a list of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position:
· Be an ambassador Montgomery Overall Service, Inc building strong relationships, ensuring high level of service and satisfaction with each existing customer and proactively resolving customer concerns.
· Drive a step van on your established route, service and sell within your existing customer base, and introduce new product solutions for their needs.
· Maintain accurate invoice inventories, conduct inventory audits, identify additional products and services that can further benefit the customer needs.
· Work professionally, safely, and in compliance with all federal and state driving and vehicle regulations.
· Be able to physically lift 50 lbs.
· Have a clean driving record and unrestricted license.
· Must meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements for vehicles over 10,000 lbs. set by federal and state standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Minimum age requirements: 22 years of age for vehicle insurance purposes
* Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing with safe driving record
* Must meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements for vehicles over 10,000 lbs. set by federal and state standards.
* Customer service skills, problem-solving abilities and the capacity to build a rapport and trust with customers.
* Physical capability to lift 50 pounds and carry products into and out of customer’s locations.
* High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in sales or business is a plus.
