Montgomery Swim Academy (MSA) offers both private instruction (one on one, and semi private) and group swim instruction for youth, teens and adults.
Our mission is simple; Share and pass along our passion for the sport of swimming in a safe and fun environment. Apart from being an amazing form of exercise and sport, its a also a valuable lifelong skill.
MSA is the sole provider of swim instruction for the Montgomery Township Parks and Recreation Department.
Montgomery Swim Academy is looking for Swim Instructors to join our team in Skillman, NJ!
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Recommended to have American Red Cross WSI certification.
- Must be able to teach at least 4 hours a week.
- Must be available to work weekends. NO HOLIDAYS
- Must have a positive attitude and be able to work with students of all ages in a fun environment.
- Must have knowledge of swimming strokes, lengths, and head-up communication.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct swimmers in the safe and effective use of all training equipment provided by Montgomery Swim Academy (swim lessons, water fitness, water safety, etc.).
- Demonstrate water skills classes (safety, conditioning) for students.
- Demonstrate swim techniques classes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke etc.) for students.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment by keeping pool area clear of clutter and maintaining a pool care schedule.
Schedule :
Looking for applicants who are available to work on any of the following: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 5:30pm-9pm, Saturdays 9am-1pm and Sundays 9am-11am!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
