• Prepare and review financial documents, budgets, and reports for accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation of transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct regular ledger maintenance and other accounting activities related to flatbed operations.
• Coordinate with other departments to verify financial information and clarify discrepancies.
• Support the financial planning and budgeting processes, providing insights into cost management and revenue enhancement specific to flatbed logistics.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
• Prepare for and assist with external audits by providing necessary information and explanations.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, ideally in the transportation or logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
