POSITION SUMMARY
The M1 Account Manager is responsible for managing the largest accounts in the organization’s freight network, tendering loads and dispersing them to the appropriate MTG company, and coordinating with various internal departments to provide tailored solutions to assure customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers via telephone and email communication.
• Resolve service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
• Receive loads from customers and determine which entity should book the load and deliver based on revenue, truck availability, and load destination.
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Develop and maintain proficient working knowledge of all relevant order planning software.
• Work in conjunction with all customer service and operations teams across the organization to make sure all customer loads are dispatched and delivered in a timely manner.
• Other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
• Bachelor’s degree (4 year) or equivalent industry experience.
• Working knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT hours of service.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Detail oriented, with ability to multi-task, in a fast-paced work environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office product suite.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Experience with McLeod TMS Software, preferred.
Qualifications
Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
