Montgomery Whitewater is a world-class outdoor recreation and entertainment facility situated on the banks of the Alabama River. At its core is a state-of-the-art, man-made whitewater channel, created to bring whitewater rafting, paddling, and outdoor activities, and entertainment to the city of Montgomery and the surrounding region. The facility sits on 120 acres and is designed for all users to enjoy outdoor activities and special events, and to share in a healthy, active lifestyle.

Job Duties & Essential Responsibilities:

· Master menu options and pairings to best enhance the Montgomery Whitewater experience with the right foods and beverages

· Leverage your own warmth and approachability to create returning fans and word-of-mouth reputation

· Coordinate and collaborate with team members with kindness, honor, dignity, and respect

· Ensure guests have a clean and inviting environment

· Participate in special events and marketing

Qualifications

· A minimum of 18 years of age

Physical Demands

· Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist and grasp items

· Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations

· Subject to lifting to 40 lbs. and standing, stooping, bending, and walking for extended periods of time

· Must be able to work indoors for a portion of the time and outdoors during various weather conditions

· Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as expected in a recreation/tourism-based event management position
