Montgomery Whitewater is a world-class outdoor recreation and entertainment facility situated on the banks of the Alabama River. At its core is a state-of-the-art, man-made whitewater channel, created to bring whitewater rafting, paddling, and outdoor activities, and entertainment to the city of Montgomery and the surrounding region. The facility sits on 120 acres and is designed for all users to enjoy outdoor activities and special events, and to share in a healthy, active lifestyle.
About the Role:
Join the Eddy's team and be a key player in providing delicious food and beverages to our guests. You'll be part of a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are strictly adhered to.
- Properly label and rotate food items to ensure freshness.
- Assist with inventory and food ordering as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service and interact positively with guests and coworkers.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Assist with special events and catering as needed.
Qualifications:
- Passion for food and a desire to create delicious meals.
- Previous kitchen experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
