Position: Warehouse Associate
Hours: Part-Time: 16-20 Hours weekly (Thursday-Saturday)

Peek behind the scenes - a day in the life of a Warehouse Associate
- Receiving freight and unloading trucks
- Stocking merchandise
- Opening, assembling, and inspecting furniture to prepare it for pickup or delivery.
- Utilize delivery software and load trucks based on the load information in the Delivery Software
- Effectively communicate with our clients in a courteous and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck at all times.
- Communicate any issues with our delivery manager and service teams and complete necessary delivery and return forms as needed.
- Understand and utilize receiving functions, inventory, bar coding and other related computer applications to post receipt and transfers of merchandise and customer orders
- This position may also help with placing displays under the direction of our merchandising team.
Who is a Fit For This Role?
The ideal candidate will work well with others on the warehouse team and help promote teamwork and cooperation. This position will include some delivery of furniture to our customers homes. This position must always provide courteous and professional service to our customers. This position will be located in our Madison location which is climate-controlled year-round. Daytime hours and some Saturdays.

- Preferred knowledge of warehousing applications and/or previous warehouse experience.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Must have the ability to use tools to assist in lifting and transporting large and sometime heavy furniture and assemble and install furniture.
- Must have the ability to bend, lift and carry furniture and items into customers homes, properly placing them and assembling where required.
- High school diploma or GED; must be able to read, write and have basic math skills.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 100 pounds, sit and stand for extended periods of time.
